The Polarized Sunglasses VIF One Black and Gold provide superior protection and comfort in all kinds of conditions. The lenses are treated with a special hydrophobic filter, which is scratch-resistant and water-repellent, so even in the rain, the sunglasses are perfectly transparent and also absorb less moisture and thus, they do not fog up. Polarized lenses with UV400 filter contain a layer of triacetate (TAC), which reduces glare caused by the reflection of sunlight from shiny surfaces such as glass, water or a wet road and snow, increases image clarity and increases scratch resistance.
The sunglasses boast a simple lens replacement mechanism, which allows you to change the lenses in three seconds. The rubber of the nose-piece and temples stays grippy even when wet, so the sunglasses will stick to your nose during any sports activity, they ensure comfort even when the sunglasses are worn for a longer period of time and most importantly, during a potential crash.
These sunglasses have a frame made of Grilamid TR90, which is very light, flexible and durable and its properties surpass classic polycarbonate or nylon and significantly affects the comfort, safety and durability of the entire glasses. TR90 is a transparent polyamide made of mixtures of various synthetic resins. It is characterized mainly by very low weight, high flexibility and strength. This material is partly used in Formula 1.
Warning: The polarized lens may affect the perception of LCD screens and other displays. Don’t leave the sunglasses in places where the temperature exceeds 60°C, e.g. in the car during a hot summer day or a sauna!
