You can see all the information (i.e. time, speed, slope, distance, heart rate and calories burned) on a large, 21.6” display, under which you can find large control buttons, including the speed and slope buttons. Moreover, the Gardian 12 also features a USB input, MP3 player with speakers, headphone input and memory card slot. You may also appreciate a pedometer (recording the number of steps) which can be found under the display. From the point of view of maintenance, the fact that it is not necessary to apply oil under the tread is pleasing - you only need to fill the oil tank and it is then automatically applied while the machine is running. Moreover, regardless of the setting, the Matrix function, which displays a 400m lap to make the exercise more interesting, is on all the time.
